Brass or Bronze
  Our plaques are cast and polished in the time honoured way.
The brass being polished to a high reflective finish, and the Bronze to a matt finish.
The bright polish of Brass is very impressive when first unveiled compared with the matt finish of Bronze, however, both evolve with time and mellow to a similar patina similar to an old war memorial plaque.
  We usually paint the background of polished brass which does look grand, but provide a natural finish to the background of a Bronze plaque, which we feel is a more subdued.
